### Motorized Mechanism

- Compact and extraordinarily strong locking mechanism.

- Rotation mechanism must automatically return to its resting position.

- Must operate in Normally Open mode for energy savings, with the option to switch to Normally Closed mode at the operator's discretion.

- Optical sensors indicate when the arm is activated and its direction of rotation—no mechanical contact, preventing wear. Solid-state design ensures consistent performance over the product's lifespan, resulting in extended life and reduced maintenance costs.
- Rotor must have three openings spaced 120º apart to secure the arms.
- Arm anchoring must be inaccessible to unauthorized personnel.
- Should include an electronic interface that allows the release of the lock for passage.
- The movement of the rotating group is controlled by two optical devices that allow rotation in the direction of entry or exit.
- In case of power failure or through an emergency command, the arm should drop automatically.
- Tripod operation: Manual, with minimal resistance for user-initiated movement.
- The tripod is controlled by an optical mechanism housed inside the upper part of the turnstile, ensuring silent rotation with the following features:
  - A lever system controlled by electromagnets that release/block rotation in the desired direction.

  - A damping disk moderating force applied to the tripod for smooth stopping at the end of travel.
  - Optical sensor system to detect the tripod's position.

**Control Logic:** The mechanism is controlled by a microprocessor or microcontroller logic card. It should have necessary external interfaces such as dry contacts for control and status, data communication, etc.

### Modes of Operation:

1. **Entry:** Functions as a barrier for entry and exit with digital counting without reset.
2. **Free:** Passage is unlocked in both directions.
3. **Out of Service:** Passage is blocked in both directions.
4. **Panic:** Releases the turnstile in case of electrical failure and battery failure or when directed by the management center. Visual indicators on both sides show passage availability with a green arrow.
